How is a "known contact" defined?
A known contact is any user whose number is saved in your device contacts and who also has dChats Messenger installed. Messages between known contacts are completely free within the 1,000 daily quota.
What happens when I hit my daily limit?
After your free quota is used up, outgoing messages are throttled. Upgrade to Premium to maintain 1,500 msg/sec throughput without interruption.
How do I verify as Educational or Healthcare?
Upload your institution registration certificate or a government-issued licence in the dChats Messenger Business Portal. Approval typically takes 1–2 business days.
Does unused quota roll over?
No. Unused free messages from a given day expire at 5:00 AM when the quota resets. Plan your campaigns within your daily limit for maximum efficiency.
What counts as a "Premium" message?
Premium messages include guaranteed delivery, high-priority broadcast campaigns, marketing messages with tracking, and transactional messages requiring read receipts.
Can I top up without upgrading my tier?
