Status updates can be photos, videos up to 30 seconds, plain text with customisable backgrounds, GIFs, stickers, and voice notes. You can add captions, draw on images with the annotation tool, and set a privacy level for each individual status post.

Text and photos are great, but sometimes your voice says more than any image can. dChats Messenger's voice status feature lets you record a short audio clip that appears in your contacts' feeds alongside a waveform visualiser. Recipients tap to listen — no need to even open the status.

Voice statuses are perfect for sharing a laugh, a quick thought, or even a song snippet. They're more intimate than a photo, more accessible than a video, and effortlessly personal.

Privacy Controls That Actually Work

Every status you post can be shared with all your contacts, or with a custom list of specific people. You can also exclude specific contacts without them knowing. These privacy controls are applied per-status, so you can share a professional update broadly while keeping a personal moment just for close friends.

View receipts show you exactly who saw your status and at what time. If you change your mind, you can delete a status before the 24-hour window closes — it disappears immediately from all viewers' feeds.

Automatic Disappearing — Built-in Peace of Mind

Every status post disappears automatically after 24 hours. There's nothing to manage, no archive to curate, and no permanent digital footprint building up silently in the background. What you share today won't be discoverable by someone scrolling your profile a year from now.
